Elizabeth Kupferman, RN, LMHC is a grief counselor practicing in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas area focused on helping women come to terms with grief, loss and unexpected change.
Elizabeth also works with women who are struggling with chronic and terminal illnesses, depression and social anxiety. She also works with those struggling with the feeling that they have lost their passion for life and who want to move toward living their dreams.
Elizabeth helps her grief clients using a combination of depth psychology, positive psychology, coaching strategies, client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, expressive arts therapy, and sandplay therapy, as well as a variety of traditional techniques depending on the client and the situation.
Elizabeth earned her undergraduate and Master’s Degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, the Association for Creativity in Counseling, the International Positive Psychology Association, the Collaborative for End-of-life and Grief Education and Sigma Theta Tau International (Honor Society of Nursing). She has both consulted and worked with Hospice and Palliative Care in Charlotte, North Carolina in the support of grieving children, adolescents and adults.
She was a weekly contributor to Heartbeat Radio for Women and has also worked with organizations such as Children First Home Health Care System, VITAS Innovative Hospice Care, Southeastern Association of Credit Management, The Orlando Diocese, Lohman Funeral Homes and The Continental Group. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in both Texas and Florida. In addition to being a counselor, Elizabeth is a Registered Nurse and Certified Life Coach.
